Acrylic is an excellent filter material for contrast enhancement display filters. Excellent weather resistance, non-yellowing, light weight, good optical clarity and availability of in a wide range of colors make acrylic filters a great choice for electronic displays.

As opposed to extruded acrylic and polycarbonate, cell cast acrylic has very low birefringence making it an ideal material for polarizer applications.
