Polycarbonate is an excellent display filter material for abusive environments. It’s light weight and ability to withstand impacts without shattering makes it ideal for handheld devices and other applications where impact resistance is critical. While uncoated polycarbonate is soft and tends to scratch easily, optical hard coatings eliminate that issue.
