Custom Laser Cutting
We provide a broad range of optical films and custom optical filters in almost any shape or size to meet virtually any application. The new laser cutting equipment permits API to hold very tight tolerances when cutting intricate shapes with little damage to the edge of polarizing substrates. All production of custom optical filters is completed in-house to facilitate cost control and reduce production cycle time.
- Six laser cutters and two waterjet cutting machines on site
- Customers may specify sizes as large as 40” x 24”
- 25 micron beam diameter on lasers to assure smooth, accurate cutting regardless of material width
